LinkedPull ("LinkedPull," "we," "us," or "our") connects licensed tradespeople with background- and payment-verified contractors. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through linkedpull.pro and our related services (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

01Information we collect

Information you give us

• Account & profile details: name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and password.
• Trade credentials: license or certification numbers, issuing state, trade classification, and years of experience, submitted so we can verify your qualifications against a listing.
• Application materials: resume, work history, references, and any message you send to a contractor through the Service.
• Billing information: if you continue past your free trial, our payment processor collects your card details on our behalf. We do not store full card numbers ourselves.
• Communications: anything you send our support team, including messages reporting a listing or contractor concern.

Information collected automatically

• Usage data: pages viewed, listings searched or saved, and links clicked.
• Device data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and rough location derived from IP.
• Cookies and similar technologies, described further in Section 4.

02How we use it

• Match you to listings that fit your trade, license, and location.
• Verify contractor and tradesperson credentials before a listing goes live or an application is submitted.
• Operate your account, including the free trial and, if you continue, your paid subscription.
• Send job-related communications: application status, interview requests, and account or billing notices.
• Send optional match alerts if you sign up for them, as described in Section 5.
• Monitor for fraud, misrepresented listings, or safety concerns, and investigate reports from users.
• Improve the Service, including which listings and search filters perform well.

03When we share information

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only in these circumstances:

• With contractors you apply to: your application, license status, and relevant work history are shared with the contractor for that specific listing.
• With service providers: payment processing, license-verification, email delivery, and hosting vendors who process data on our behalf under contract.
• For legal reasons: if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of LinkedPull, our users, or the public.
• In a business transfer: if LinkedPull is acquired or merges with another company, user information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

04Cookies & tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your search filters, and understand how the Service is used. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings; doing so may affect features like staying logged in or saved searches. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles for third parties.

05Email & notifications

If you submit your email through the "Get Notified" opt-in, we'll send you alerts when new listings match your trade. This is separate from the transactional emails tied to an active application or account (like interview requests or billing receipts), which we send regardless of opt-in status since they're necessary to operate the Service.

You can unsubscribe from match alerts at any time using the link in any such email, or by contacting us directly.

06Data security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and regular review of who can access user data internally. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and will notify affected users if we become aware of a breach involving personal data, as required by law.

07Data retention

We keep account and application data for as long as your account is active, and for a limited period afterward to resolve disputes, meet legal or tax obligations, and maintain records of license verifications. You can request earlier deletion as described in Section 8.

08Your rights & choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@linkedpull.pro. We'll verify your identity and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

09Children's privacy

The Service is intended for individuals who are at least the minimum working age in their jurisdiction, and in any case not younger than 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

10Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date above and, where required, notify you directly. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the revised policy.
